The PRO-HEAD Sandbag is made of a heavyweight 600 Denier packcloth material. It has two zippered openings, each of which can be filled with 10 lbs. of sand and zippered shut. The openings are separated by a black poly handle for easy pick up and transport.
The Sandbag ships empty, and when filled weighs approximately 20 lbs. Sand can be purchased for about $4 at Home Depot, Lowes or your local garden center.
Although the base of the Standard model PRO-HEAD can easily be filled with water or sand, some users find it more convenient to place the filled sandbag on top of the base. The bag is then removed when the Trainer is to be transported and can be replaced for immediate use.
The sandbag may also be used to add stability to the Deluxe PRO-HEAD if needed.
